PREPARING FOR AN IN-OFFICE VISIT DURING THE PANDEMIC
When scheduling an appointment, you’ll be asked whether you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, including fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or loss of taste or smell. You are also asked whether you or someone in your household has recently tested positive for COVID-19. The same questions will be asked when you arrive for your appointment. We also take the temperature of every patient who arrives at our office using a “no touch” thermometers. Visitors are not allowed in the office unless previously approved.
If you have COVID-19 symptoms, please do not come to the office. You cannot be seen in person if you’re symptomatic, but we can reschedule your appointment for a later date. Telehealth sessions can be provided upon request.
When you arrive, you are expected to wear a mask or face covering in accordance with the current New York state guidelines. If you arrive without a mask, you’ll be given one to wear. Office staff wear masks and other protective equipment. The office is cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.
You will be asked to wash your hands upon your entry and your temperature will be taken.
